The décor at Natasha and Robert’s wedding was a stunning mix of flowers, feathers and rustic detailing. They kept to their ‘a touch of Africa’ theme by incorporating Guinea Fowl feathers in their centerpieces, and including an animal key ring in their favour packages. The favours also included some pieces of fudge, and a stroopwafel, which is a Dutch caramel biscuit. They picked this to represent Robert’s Dutch heritage.
The generous couple also donated to the Shine organization on behalf of all their guests, who supplied them with lovely beaded bracelets to give to each guest as well as information pamphlets about providing literacy and language enrichment programmes to children in South Africa. The bracelets and pamphlets were also added to the favours.
As Natasha is a teacher, they used chalkboards as the placemats, with each guests’ name written across them. Fishbowls and small metal pails were placed along the hessian table runners.
