Liza-Maree describes the couple’s wedding décor as ‘minimalistic but out of this world beautiful’. The couple went for a rustic theme highlighted with navy, gold and peach accents, which suited the venue’s natural surroundings perfectly.
For the placeholders, the couple spray painted fresh leaves with gold and wrote each person’s name on. This décor detail may have been budget friendly but it looked amazing!
Every part of the décor was well thought out and had a very personal touch. The flower seed and braai salt wedding favours for each guest were hung from a wooden frame, where guests had to take them and replace them with a picture of themselves and a little message.
Tree log slices decorated the long tables and on top of them perched small yet beautiful centrepieces, consisting of flowers and kale underneath glass domes decorated with black lace – all put together by Liza-Maree’s talented Aunt Anita.
Metallic details were laced throughout the table décor, such as gold candles on silver holders and gold baubles nestled amongst decorative foliage.
