Leigh-Anne and Stuart first locked eyes at a cocktail bar eight years ago, but this wasn’t the first occasion that they bumped into each other.
Although nothing happened on this first meeting, fate decided that they were meant to be together and the couple continued to bump into each other on most nights out.
They eventually formed a strong friendship, even though Stuart wanted more and attempted to ask Leigh-Anne out a few times.
After moving in together as friends a couple of years later, Stuart picked Leigh-Anne’s birthday to make one last bid at winning her over.
He surprised her with a romantic picnic in their lounge with candles and champagne – Leigh-Anne was swept off her feet and has had butterflies for Stuart ever since!
The proposal story was equally as romantic. On a family trip out to the Valley of Desolation in Graaff-Reinet, Stuart pulled Leigh-Anne in for a photo at the mountaintop then surprised her once again by getting down on one knee and proposing in front of her family!
The moment was so unexpected for Leigh-Anne but of course she said yes through tears of joy.
Despite Stuart having to work away in America and only being home for two weeks at a time, this pair of lovebirds still made it work and somehow found the time to plan their dream wedding!
They wed at the lovely Riverside Hall in Port Elizabeth in front of their friends and family.
