Following their perfect wedding ceremony, Kate and Lawrence celebrated with their 250 guests at The Nut House, a barn on the farm. The building was draped in white fabric and looked stunning. The shed was decorated in pastel and earthy tones, to suit the rustic country wedding theme. Wreaths with hearts hanging down were suspended from the ceiling, and guests received special handmade favours as they took their seats. Female guests got handmade heart shaped brooches, made by a bridesmaid and a friend of Kate’s, whilst the men got packets of pecan nuts from the farm.
The wedding meal was all homemade and delicious. Guests enjoyed a starter of pates, cheeses, smoked salmon and bread, served on cheese boards which Kate’s dad made from old wine barrels, followed by ham, coronation chicken, fillet and salads for main. Chocolate brownies, maragues with fresh cream and strawberries and koksusters followed for dessert.
