Gillian went with a friend to try on a couple of wedding dresses, taking advice from the store owner with regards to what would flatter her figure. After trying on a number of times and discussing alterations, the bride to be opted to hire the third gorgeous gown that she’d put on from Glamour Suit Hire in Greyville.
Gillian purchased new jewellery for her wedding day, so as her ‘something old’ she carried her mother’s embroided handkerchief. For fabulous bridal feet she bought a pair of silver shoes from Foshini, complete with a diamante bow and low heel.
Cousin Patrick, a professional hairdresser, styled Gillian’s up-do on the big day, with professional make-up artist Lynn perfecting Gillian’s bridal look. Bridal hairpins and a tiara added some all important glitz to her bridal bouffant, with a short veil finishing it off.
