Gillian arrived at the church in some serious style; drawing up in a dark blue Rolls Royce borrowed from a family member. The bride walked down the aisle on the arm of her mother to the traditional wedding march, played by a pianist, at Gateway Church in Mount Edgecombe. Hymns ‘A New Commandment’ and ‘A Shout to The Lord’ were sung during the ceremony before the newlyweds were declared husband and wife.
Following the ceremony, guests joined the new Mr. and Mrs. for a sumptuous buffet wedding breakfast. The wedding reception was held at The Mount Edgecombe Country Club; a beautiful lake house chosen because of the connection to the couple’s first date. The couple were full of praise for the “very helpful and relaxed” venue staff that made their big day that extra bit special.
