Chervon and Werner cut into a traditional tiered cake covered in soft white icing, wrapped in turquoise and purple ribbons. The cake featured a quirky cake topper, and the sponge inside was turquoise on one tier and purple on the other, to match the colour scheme.
The couple hired Farazaana Kprey bakery to make their wedding cake, and she also made a selection of vanilla cupcakes, decorated with the bride and groom’s face for them to enjoy.
After the cake was cut and the fathers of the bride and groom had made emotional speeches, the guests and the newlyweds partied to music played by a Latin and ballroom music DJ.
Following their rustic and vintage inspired wedding, Chervon and Werner jetted to Durban for three days, before spending their honeymoon on a cruise, enjoying each other’s company as husband and wife.
