Dressed all in pink, Annalisa really was a blushing bride and worked her pretty peony colour scheme into the rest of her day.
An amazing example of this was the couple’s beautiful rose tinted cake made by Sugar fairy in Paarl. Four grand layers created a red velvet and fondant icing filled master piece, crowned with an edible white flower.
The bottom tier was inscribed with sweetly romantic words and even the cutting knife was wrapped in pink satin.
For cake toppers, Annalisa and Marc-Anthony had fun by choosing a female and male minion from the film Despicable Me.
The couple chose personal favourites close to home for their wedding menu. They provided a three course menu of chicken liver parfait and melba toast to start, and for main grilled sirloin steak was served in a mushroom brandy sauce with sweet pumpkin fritters, roast vegetables and gratin potatoes on the side.
And of course, who could forget the mouthwatering wedding cake which was served up for dessert!
