Getting Married in the Seychelles

If you're considering weddings abroad in the Seychelles then you can be sure of a romantic wedding which will stay in your hearts forever. Marriage Requirements


Since religious ceremonies are not legally binding in the Seychelles couples will need to have a civil ceremony first. They need to to apply to the Civil Status Office at least a couple of months before their intended marriage date and send photocopies of their documents. These include birth certificates, first 2 pages of their passports and a letter of no impediment. If either of them has been divorced or widowed, then papers to this effect need to be sent also.
