If you're considering weddings abroad in the Seychelles then you can be sure of a romantic wedding which will stay in your hearts forever. With stunning scenery, gorgeous beaches, and a warm tropical climate, these islands ooze with romance. Located in the middle of the Indian Ocean, they're a group of 115 islands which are all equally beautiful and their natural beauty will serve as wonderful wedding backdrops for your photos. However, you want to get married, whether you fancy a small beach front setting, the intimacy of the private chapel on Mahe, or surrounded by coloured tropical gardens, there's plenty of choice in the Seychelles. There's also a wealth of culture and heritage to discover and with so many activities and attractions to visit, why not extend your stay to include a honeymoon too.
Since religious ceremonies are not legally binding in the Seychelles couples will need to have a civil ceremony first. They need to to apply to the Civil Status Office at least a couple of months before their intended marriage date and send photocopies of their documents. These include birth certificates, first 2 pages of their passports and a letter of no impediment. If either of them has been divorced or widowed, then papers to this effect need to be sent also. They will need to be in the Seychelles at least 2 days before their wedding date. For more information visit http://www.seychelles.travel/en/home/legal_requirements.php
