If you're looking for tropical islands that are relatively untouched, where accommodation and restaurants blend in tastefully with the stunning landscapes, then why not consider the Grenadines. With black sand and white sand, rolling green hills and lush tropical forests, couples can experience the special day of their dreams and with so many idyllic locations in which to tie the knot, weddings abroad in the Grenadines offer enough versatility to suit the most discerning of couples.
Couples seeking to get married in the Grenadines need little more than valid passports, ongoing plane tickets and their birth certificates. They must have been in the Grenadines for at least one day from their arrival before they can apply to get married. They will get an application form from the Solicitor General's office in St. Vincent and will need to go in person to present the application and obtain revenue stamp approval from the registrar or Ministry of Justice in St. Vincent. They will also have to name 2 witnesses to be at their ceremony. The cost of the Licence is US$7.50 if there is at least 7 day's notice (Registry Licence office) or US$185 if 24 hour's notice (Ministry of Justice). Additional costs include US$1.84 stamps for the application form and US $5.52 revenue stamp.
