To get married in Singapore couples need to both be over the age of 21 and one of them needs to have resided for 15 days continuously before they can file a notice of marriage. This can be done by presenting the papers to the Registry of Marriage in Singapore or it can be done on line at www.rom.gov.sq. Once the notice has been filed the wedding must take place a minimum of 21 days after and no more than 3 months. Certificates needed are valid passports and birth certificates, together with divorce/death certificates if applicable.
