A marriage licence has to be obtained from any number of the 'municipal, office clerks' located throughout the province. It has to be purchased at least 20 days prior because notifications have to be put up in the wedding venue of your choice and the county courthouse. The fee for your licence is $110 Canadian Dollars. You will need to produce documentation and this is as follows: Birth certificates of both parties and a valid photographic ID in the form of a drivers licence or a passport.
