Getting Married in Cuba

Marriage Requirements


To get married in Cuba you both need valid passports together with a tourist card which is readily available from the Cuban consulate, airline or travel agent. You will need to Spanish translations done of your birth certificates and divorce/marriage/death certificates (if applicable) certified by a notary public as well as legalised by the Cuban consulate in South Africa. In addition you need to list full details of both parties including names, address, occupations, education, plus the nationality and full names of parents. Attach the list to a copy of  your passport  photo page and fax copies of all these documents in both English and Spanish to your Cuban hotel at least three weeks prior your arrival there.
