It's relatively easy to get married in Abu Dhabi provided you have me the requirements and conditions set out by the Government. Civil marriage do not exist and the Sharia Court in Abu Dhabi perform a ceremony according to Islamic Laws, regardless of the nationality of the applicants. The main requirement is that both applicants need to be residents of the UAE. The documents required include passports and birth certificates together with a certificate of marital status which must be attested by your country's consular either in your home country or in the UAE. Once documents are in order, they are submitted to the Sharia court along with a marriage application. 2 witnesses are needed.
