The groom should begin his speech by thanking his parents for their love and support throughout his life. He should thank his guests for sharing in his and his bride’s special day and show his appreciation for all the gifts they have given. The groom also needs to mention all those family members or friends who could not be at the wedding due to illness and wish them a speedy recovery. Finally, the groom would traditionally thank the bridesmaids and present them with gifts as tokens of appreciation.
This speech would traditionally begin by welcoming the groom’s parents and relatives as well as all other guests. He would then say a few words about how proud he is of hi daughter and how beautiful she looks on her special day.
