Whilst in the city visit the old neighbourhoods of the 'Place Royal' the 'Old Port' and the spellbinding quaintness of 'Le Petit Champlain' North America's oldest shopping district. The latter is adorned with small boutiques, cobbled streets and 17th century buildings. During the winter, it is bedecked with fairy lights and it looks like something you would see on a Christmas card. The Sant Roche district is where you will find some of the best restaurants in the city and the Boulevard Larrier is a shopper’s paradise. Summer festivals and winter carnivals only add to the spectacle. Around one hour's drive from the city you have the Stoneham mountain ski resort where you can ski through some gorgeous snow-scapes. A little closer to the city you have the stunning Montmorency falls which at 30 metres higher than Niagara are an awesome sight.
