Honeymoons in Mexico

Mexico offers such a diversity of things to see and do and is well worth taking the time to explore this beautiful country, with its spicy food and colourful people. From the fabulous beaches and crystal waters of Acapulco and the Yucatan peninsula, to the stunning Mayan ruins, this country has it all. If you fancy something a little more active, then Mexico offers some great water sport opportunities including sailing, surfing and diving.

If you haven't considered a honeymoon in Mexico then maybe you should. Flights are fairly frequent from all major South African airports and with only one stop, you could be in Mexico a little over 24 hours. If you can imagine yourself lying on a palm fringed beach sipping a Margarita or two, then there are plenty of stunning beaches to choose from. Take your pick from the livelier resorts of Cozumel and Cancun, to the quieter but equally breathtaking beaches of the Yucatan Peninsular. Mexico has it all. If you like your days to be a little more active, then how about mountain biking, trekking and climbing through the lush forests of Arroyo Guacamaya. If you like your scenery below the waterline, then Mexico offers some of the best dive sites in the world, from stunning coral reefs to spectacular looking fish. Finally a visit to Mexico isn't complete without visiting the awe inspiring Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza, Tulum and Coba.
