When to go:
– With plenty of sunshine all year round, any time is possible to visit Cyprus. The summer stretches from mid May to mid October and can get extremely hot, although it is refreshingly cool in the Troodos Mountains. Early Spring is a great time to visit as the island comes alive with vibrant flowers and the temperature is pleasantly warm. Even the winter months have plenty of sunshine although there is more chance of rain.

– Most flights from South Africa include at least two stops. Egypt Air and Aegean fly from Johannesburg with stops at Cairo and Athens before landing in Larnaca some 17 hours later.
